Our Blog – December 2017

The year 2017 has been very exciting for us.  The first three of our relaunched shampoo varieties arrived between July and November and we are so pleased with them.  It is always very difficult to relaunch an existing product but I think we have succeeded. The shampoos are already getting great reviews and a hugely positive reception.

As well as the new varieties, we have a brand-new website designed and developed by Moonloft who are based at Halton Mill, Halton, where we have our office.

Animal welfare is a passion which is was why it was so important that when we developed the shampoo none of the raw ingredients nor the end product were tested on animals.   In recognition we have been awarded Cruelty Free International’s Leaping Bunny Accreditation and have also been endorsed by Naturewatch Foundation.  We operate a Fixed Cut-Off Date policy – the benchmark for cruelty free cosmetic/toiletries and household cleaning products worldwide – and our Supplier Monitoring System is open to audit.

Our beautiful boy George, who was the inspiration for Dog Hair Day, is now 13 but he is in the office every day and loves to be included in everything we do.

To have got this far is a real achievement but it wouldn’t have happened without some amazing people such as Adele and Sarah from Moonloft, Judith from Judith Coyle Editorial, our suppliers, our printers and many others.

But most of all I couldn’t have done this without George, who was and will always be the face of Dog Hair Day, and, of course, my husband, Derek.

However, the biggest thanks of all go to you my customers because without you liking and buying Dog Hair Day we wouldn’t be here.

Hope you all have a really Happy Christmas and New Year.
